Linda Mae Nation, 70, of Indian Harbor Beach, passed away Thursday, May 31st with her daughter by her side.

She was born to the late James and Dorothy Kuhn on June 2, 1947 in Akron, Ohio. She married the late Dick Nation in August of 1962.They lived together in Akron, Ohio, before moving to Melbourne, Florida in 1979. They later moved to Indian Harbor Beach.

Linda worked at the Harris corporation for some years. She later became The housekeeping supervisor for The Hilton on Melbourne Beach.

Linda was a member of "The Hookers Club" [ a crochet club ] founded by close friends Diane and Matilda. She also enjoyed playing Yatzee and Bingo. She spent most of her free time reading murder mysteries. She loved to bake and always had deviled eggs ready for any special event. She enjoyed listening to The Bee Gees and The Beatles.

Linda is proceeded in death by her son Richard Nation and survived by her daughters Laura Stone, of Saint Cloud and Lisa Nation [Kerry O'toole] of Barefoot Bay. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Stephanie Rothel, Garrett Nation and Heather Nation. She is also survived by her siblings James Kuhn [Rose], Dianne Cress [Sonny] , Mary Kuhn and sister-in-law, Cherrie Thompson.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday June 17th from 3-7 pm at The Garden Apartments Community Center. 4000 N Riverside Dr.
