Linda Sue Bangart, 78, Melbourne, FL passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026. She was born in Mattoon, IL on October 10, 1947 to Lester Nash and Henrietta Jayne Boggs.

One of Linda’s early interests was dancing including ballet, tap and modern. She began at 8 years old studying and performing continuously through her high school years with annual Broadway type extravaganza performances. Linda graduated from Hialeah High School, Miami-Dade Community College and Florida Atlantic University in 1969 where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was employed by the American Automobile Association (AAA) for over 30 years spending much of her career in management including office, Division and Regional Manager positions.

She married the late W. Owen Bangart in 1978 and they traveled extensively. Linda loved to travel and her career allowed travel to the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. After retirement, Linda continued extensive travel primarily via cruise ships with her best travel buddy, sister-in-law Judi Boggs. Besides caring for her kitties, Linda loved to read and seemed to almost singlehandedly keep Amazon/Kindle in business.

She is survived by her brother William Boggs (Judith); nephew Kristopher James Boggs (Mandy); great nephew Tyler James Boggs and great niece Emma Claire Boggs. Linda loved her small close family and she and late husband Owen dearly loved their succession of many kitties through the years.
