Leonard Harold Montano

Born - 10/27/1942, Died - 02/4/2020

Long-time Melbourne resident, Leonard Harold Montano died from multiple complications stemming from his long battle against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He died under the care of Veterans Administration health providers at the V. A. Community Living Center in Lake Nona, FL.  Mr Montano spent his formative years in Denver, CO. before joining the U.S. Army. He was a member of the 101st airborne and is a Viet Nam combat veteran (1965-69). Upon separating honorably from the U.S. Army he settled in Melbourne FL. He is a graduate of UCF. He is survived by his sisters; Shirley Wyatt and Sandra Fisk. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and son Erik.
