Leona T. Measel passed away on the morning of June 3, 2022 at the age of 85.

Leona was born to Leo and Mable Masse in Detroit, Michigan on September 15, 1936 and married her husband, Norm on July 30, 1955.

Lee and Norm lived in Warren, Michigan for 27 years where they raised two sons, Ricky and Terry, before retiring to Barefoot Bay, Florida in 1987.

Lee really never retired and remained active until the last years of her life,despite numerous health complications. Lee was always a beacon of hope and positivity, with an energy that couldn't be explained.

Lee made everyone who came into contact with her want to be a better version of themselves.

Lee was preceded in death by her husband Norm and her son Terry. Lee is also survived by her son Ricky (Debbie) Measel and 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, with many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
