Leo Earl Fett , age 65, of Virginia Beach, VA passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Melbourne, FL.

Leo was a beloved son, brother, and friend with a gentle, compassionate soul and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed traveling the world, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Leo attended Johnson & Wales University in Norfolk, VA and later graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. He was a strong advocate for LGBTQ rights and equality for all.

Leo was preceded in death by his father, Edward Leo Powers of Virginia Beach, and is survived by his mother, Christine Powers of Virginia Beach, and his siblings, Edward Powers (Katharina) of Virginia Beach, Kathleen Krahling (David) of Charlotte Hall, MD, and Susan Powers of Virginia Beach, as well as six nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service at a future date.
