Satellite Beach
Lee Ward Cummings, 71, of Satellite Beach peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
Lee was born Schenectady, New York and moved to the Melbourne area as a small child. He went on to attend Melbourne High School and graduated in 1958. He then went on to serve in the United States Navy as a sonar operator on submarines. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he attended Rollins College. Lee then worked for various Aerospace contractors for NASA.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends, especially his son David Cummings, his daughters, Patrice Petrik and Sharon McGlauflin; his adoring grandchildren, Lindsay McGlauflin, Amber Petrik, Abbie Marie Cummings, Chesley Petrik, and Dillon Lee Cummings.
