Leah Mary (Pignone) Goodhue, 99, of West Melbourne, FL, passed away Thursday October 3, 2019 peacefully in her sleep.

She was born to the late Marco and Maria Pignone on August 25, 1920 in New Bedford, MA. Daughter of Italian immigrants, she was one of seven children. She is preceded in death by her sisters Lucy Soper and Gerry Like, and her brothers Arthur Pignone and Marco Pignone Jr. She is survived by her sisters Jeanne Meek and Florence (Robert) Johnson.

Leah married Romaine (Roy) Goodhue on November 2, 1953 in Worcester, MA. They moved to Florida shortly thereafter where they raised their three children. She was active in church, square danced, and loved to play her organ and any other instrument she could get her hands on.

Leah is survived by her husband of 66 years, Romaine (Roy) Goodhue, of West Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by her children Robert Goodhue, of Palm Bay, FL; Michael (Joanna) Goodhue, of Harmony, FL; and Kimberly Goodhue, of Palm Bay, FL. Leah was a loving and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Robert Goodhue, Christine Bordelon, Alexis Kirkman, Alison Goodhue, Patrick Fucci, and Logan Goodhue.

Funeral services will be held at a later date and will be private.
