Lavonna Jeannine Brothers, 78, went to heaven Sunday, June 9 ^th , 2019 with her family by her side. "Jeannine" as she was most often referred, spent most of her life in Dayton, Ohio and the recent 9 years in Brevard County, Florida.

She was born in Covington, Kentucky to Joseph E. Brothers and Mattie D. Moore on March 12, 1941.  Jeannine attended Stivers High School in Dayton, Ohio and like many of her family and friends, began working at National Cash Register.  In those younger years, she enjoyed performing with The Kenley Players, dancing and modeling.  Later she went on to retire after staunchly serving the General Motor Corporation, Delco Products Division for 30 years.

Those to whom she was the nearest and dearest by the ties of nature and who will miss her the most, are her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, William M. Loy of Dayton, Ohio and Robin L. Buckmaster, of Rockledge, Florida. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and brought her the greatest of joy.  She immersed herself in their exuberance and adored their ongoing improvisations and theatrics. She embraced the wonders of nature, the immense beauty and awe of the universe and skies, and would spend hours outdoors often on her swing, watching and listening to these natural wonders.  She shared in many adventures with her beloved children engaging in outdoor excursions, trips to nature centers, parks and museums.  Her grandchildren are; Spenser Loy; Hilary M. Loy; Kelsey Loy; of Vandalia, OH.; Ian A. Buckmaster and wife Jessica (nee Belsby) of Lynchburg, VA.; Anthony and Casey C. Artura (nee Buckmaster) of Cherry Point, N.C.; Nina R. Wilson; Tamara (Hayla) Buckmaster and Neikerson Buckmaster of Rockledge, Florida.  She is also survived by her 3 great-grandchildren, William D. Szyper and Damian M. Wilson of Rockledge, Florida and Lucy Buckmaster of Lynchburg, Virginia.  She is also survived by her brother Gary Brothers and nephews of Dayton,

Ohio.

She will be laid to rest next to her mother in Forrest Hill Memorial Garden, Tipp City, Ohio.
