Our Hero, beloved Dad, Grampy and Brother, Kevin Richard Cawley, earned his wings on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Born in Dorchester, MA on August 15, 1941 to Helen and Leo Cawley. Kevin served in the US Air Force and retired from Delta Airlines after 32 years of employment. He loved anything to do with aviation and space exploration. He was also a history buff and an avid reader, which fed his hunger for knowledge. He knew something about everything. He loved watching soccer and the Boston Red Sox. He was a hero to his children and grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his children: Kathy (Vincent) Enea Coral Springs, Fl; Brian Cawley, Cocoa Beach, FL; Brigette (Michael) Uhrich, Saginaw, MI; Brenden Cawley, Vero Beach, FL; Tracy (Kurt) Fehlhauer, Arvada, CO; John DeCurtis, Lakeland, FL. His grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Kayla, Hannah, Bryce, Spencer, Wyatt, and August. His Sisters Nancy Fallon, Billericka, MA and Kathy (Charlie) Russell, Middleboro, MA. He was proceded in death by his parents Leo Cawley, Jack Gillespie and Helen Gillespie.
Honoring his wishes, Kevin has been cremated. His family will hold a memorial service at a later date so he can be buried with military honors at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
