Kenneth Edwin Meredith
12/28/1966 - 6/25/2017

Ken courageously lost his battle with small cell lung cancer on 6/25/17, he fought for a short 9 months but what a fight he fought. He was my best friend, a great Father, awesome husband and my HERO. He was loved by his family, Mother Louise Meredith, Mother-in-law & Father-in-law Brad and Carol Davis, Sister Denise Emers (Jeff), Sister Patricia (Jack), and his Brother John (Angela) and many other relatives that will truly miss him and all his many abilities and talents. He was a very special person and will be missed by all that he touched.
Ken graduated Eau Gallie High School in 1984 and started working at Kelly Ford as an apprentice a couple of days after graduating. He then started in 1986 at Island Lincoln Mercury and worked for 21 years as a Service Technician. He pursued several different jobs until he went back to working on cars and started at Lexus of Melbourne where I will never forget they were amazed that he had worked at one job for 21 years and also that he completed their entrance test very fast because he was amazing at math. He was one of the smartest people I have ever met. He has been a caregiver to his Father-in-law for 6 years and enjoyed this responsibility as Brad and Ken took several trips together and loved to hang out watching TV, reading the paper, or listening to music.
The one thing that Ken truly believed in was keeping your word and doing what you say your going to do, he would say if you can look a man in the eye and give him a firm handshake then I believe that man to be true to his word. Things today are much different than when we were younger so this is falling short in todays times but Ken really wanted people to just be TRUE to their word. So when you remember Ken remember to SMILE, STAY TRUE TO YOUR WORD, AND ALWAYS LOVE YOUR FAMILY, he was a very loving man. Ken Meredith, rest in peace my love, until we meet again.
