Kenneth Roger McKean, 84, passed into the presence of the Lord May 7th after a three year battle with cancer.

He was born to Walter and Rose McKean on October 24th, 1934 in Albany New York. Kenneth graduated from Culver Military Academy in 1952. He graduated from Gettysburg College in 1956. He married Marlene Phillips in 1957 in Panama City, Florida. Kenneth McKean entered the Air Force through the ROTC program and after college served as an Air Force officer for thirty years. He entered the Air Force into Interceptor weapons school and was assigned various positions through his career in the Aircraft Control and Warning field. After his Air Force career he then worked at Grumman Aerospace Corporation in Melbourne Florida for fifteen years as test director for the Joint Star Program.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Marlene McKean of Melbourne, Florida, his son Roger McKean of Santa Rosa ,California and his daughter Linda McKean of Melbourne, Florida

Services will be held on Friday May 24th at 11:00am at Victory Assembly of God in Palm Bay Florida. His ashes will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida at 3:00 the same day with military honors.
