Kenneth ( Kenny) Johnson, 49 of Melbourne passed away suddenly on Sunday May 15th at home. Kenny was born in Melbourne on Nov. 17, 1966. He attended Eau Gallie High School class of 1984.
He started plastering at the age of 16 and later became the proud owner and operator of Indian River Plastering, and was respected by all. He was a true master of his trade and could turn sand into gold.
Kenny was a coach and mentor for many years at Eau Gallie Little League and Melbourne Bulldogs football.
He was an avid fisherman and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, fulfilling his lifelong dream of attending a home Cowboys game at AT&T stadium. Kenny had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is predeceased by his father Gene and brother PJ.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Carrie ( Souther), son Kenny, mother Sandy Mahan, sister Brandi Purvis, mother-in-law Sally Souther, brother-in-law Jim (Selda) Souther, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and many others.
A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 2-5 at 4505 Deerwood Trail, Melbourne, FL. 32934
