Katheryn "Kitty" Louise (Roux) Goodyear went to be with our Lord on April 29, 2016. Katheryn was born in Fort Mead, Fl. on the 21st of August 1923. She graduated from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fl. with a Degree in Biology and she was also a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Katheryn Married the love of her life Lang Goodyear in 1945 Move to Eau Gallie, Florida in 1950. Katheryn was a Homemaker, beloved wife and mother and was a life long Gator Fan, a founding member of the Eau Gallie Gardenetts. Katheryn was also a member of St Pauls's United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two children Wayne Goodyear & Scotty Goodyear, Husband Lang Goodyear, Father Dr. Fredrick Roux, Mother Rudy Roux, Brother Dr. Stuart Roux. Surviving family members son Randy Goodyear, Tod Goodyear, daughter Kathy Goodyear. Daughter in laws Jan Goodyear, Doris Goodyear, son in law Eddy Slattery, Grandchildren Cameron Goodyear, Jayme Goodyear, Matt Goodyear, Kristen Goodyear, Josh Goodyear, granddaughter in law Lorissa Goodyear, Great -Grandchildren Chase Goodyear, Riley Goodyear and Addison Goodyear.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 9:30-10 am followed by funeral services at 10 AM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Melbourne, Fl. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Chruch.
