Karen Stoss, 58, joined our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Karen was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 13, 1953 to Rudolph Mahler and the late Eileen Fantry. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. Karen's care and compassion for others guided her into a career of nursing.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Daily Bread and a Local Horse Farm in Cocoa Beach. Karen led an amazing battle with cancer for 12 years and is truly a survivor. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind her son, Jason Stoss; grandson, William E. Stoss; father, Rudolph Mahler; brother, Richard Mahler; a lovely family of friends at Cape Canaveral Hospital and many others.
Family will greet friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 6 to 8PM at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 4PM on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Ascension Catholic Church.
