Karen V. Johnson, 49, passed away April 6, 2016, after a year long illness. Born in Miami, Florida daughter of the late Sylvester Johnson, Sr and Ruth (Hargrove) Johnson. Cherished wife of Benford Smith. She was the beloved mother of Leviticus and Joshua Fletcher and sister of Gloria Smith, Sylvester Johnson, II, and James Johnson; aunt to several nieces and nephews. Prior to her illness she was employed by the Veterans Administration in Viera as a volunteer specialist.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1950 Michigan Avenue, Cocoa from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, April 16, 2016 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Chad Perdue. Burial will be private.
