Our beloved aunt June Blum passed with her family by her side on June 14th in Palm Bay Florida. "Aunt Junie" was not only a special member of our family, she was a world famous artist. Her artwork has appeared in museums nationwide. She was one of the famous women artists and feminist known as the "Sister Chapel" from the sixties and seventies. She was a curator at a number of museums including the Brooklyn Museum in NY. Her artwork stretched barriers in canvas, three dimensional art, and light sensory effect long before computers. We will miss you Aunt Junie, but the legacy of your work will live on.
