Obituary

Judith Theresa Miles was born on April 30th, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA. to the late James Arthur Miles and Ruth Marie Miles. Judy attended Catholic school from elementary through 12th grade and graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia in 1984.
Judy joined the United States Army and served in the support squadron for Food Services. Judy enjoyed cooking and received multiple awards for her culinary prowess including multiple certificate of achievement and certificates of merit as well as numerous other awards while serving in the Army.
Judy also served in Operation Desert Storm in the 557th maintenance company. She served with distinction in Saudia Arabia among the coalition forces fighting for the Liberation of Kuwait.
Judy was a sweet and loving soul who always loved to laugh and would always bring a smile to your face. She loved her family and friends so much. She was a very caring and giving person and all those that knew Judy loved her. She had a great sense of humor and as we recently found out had a knack for Karaoke.
As Judy has moved on to a better place, wrapped in Gods arms. He is gently holding her and guiding to all her friends and family who departed before her showing Judy the way to them in heaven so they can be together again. Knowing Judy, I know she would say don't grieve for me now, I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Task left undone must stay that way. I founds that peace at close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these too, I shall miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time here on earth seemed all to brief, don't lengthened it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me, for God wanted me now. He set me free.
Judy is survived by the love of her life, Tony Marth, her fiance and is also survived by her twin brother Jeffrey and brothers Gary and David, 2 sisters - JoAnn & Lynne, 2 Aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and entire Marth Family as well as her extended family from the Legion and numerous other friends.
