Judith W. "Judy" Moen, 74, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. Born in Deland, FL on November 22, 1940, she moved to Orlando with her parents. She graduated from Boone High School where she was a Majorette and played flute in the Band and then went on to graduate from Rollins College. After graduation Judy taught at Jackson Junior High School in Orlando. While teaching in Orlando, she met and married her husband Allan. She and Allan moved to Satellite Beach and then to Melbourne where Judy taught 7th Grade Science at Johnson Junior High School for more than 30 years. In addition to teaching, she completed a Master's Degree at Florida Institute of Technology.
Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid card and letter writer. She enjoyed going to the Georgia Mountains and the beach. She was an active member of St Timothy Lutheran Church. Judy was a loving wife, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed. Peace be with you now, Judy, as you join Mom and Dad in the Kingdom of Heaven .She leaves memories to be cherished by her devoted husband, Allan; sister, Janet Montgomery (Richard); brothers, Jory Williams and John Williams (Tess); nephew, Joel; niece, Jennifer; and 4 grand-nephews and nieces.
A praise celebration will be held Monday, December 22, 2014, 11 AM at St Timothy Lutheran Church, 1903 Croton Road, Melbourne, FL 32935.
