IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Judith Roseann Mitravich

June 1, 1942-February 20, 2026

Judith Roseann “Judy” (nee Bucelata) Mitravich passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late James Allen Mitravich. Cherished mother of Kelly Lee (Jim) Habovick, Erin Marlene (Shane) Potter and the late James (Cheryl) Mitravich. Proud grandmother of Austin James “AJ” (Corri) Rathjen, Zachary (Cierra) Rathjen, Taylor (Evan) Short, Mallory (Justin) Ray, Shane (Alexandra) Potter, Meagan (Nate) Mitravich and Amanda Mitravich. Treasured great-grandmother of Aden, Parker, Lexi, Isaiah, Everly, Zane, Madison, Makenna, Camden and Miley Sue.

Predeceased by her parents Stephen P. and Anna L. (nee Donatelli) Bucelata and her brother Stephen Paul Bucelata Jr..  She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

After just turning 19, Judy married her true love “Jim” Mitravich on September 4, 1961. Their rare bond endured all of life’s seasons and changes for 64 years.

Judy enjoyed all types of music over the years, but there was one song she would happily sing and dance to with a partner or by herself, “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. She had such an adventurous spirit! When the question “Where’s Judy?” was asked at a family barbecue, one of the unsurprising answers would be, “Over there, slip n sliding with the grandkids!” Judy loved her family and cooking for them. Her favorite cooking holiday was Thanksgiving, and she made the best turkey every year! Although Judy was known for her annual turkey, her peanut butter balls were a weekly treat. She would share them with her family and friends, and they were requested at numerous events. Judy’s other passions were enjoying a day at the beach, a boat ride, working in the yard, bingo, craft fairs, theme parks and anything that involved spending time with her most important achievement in life-her family.

Celebration of life date to be determined.
