Judith Ann Parr Bivens, 78, of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday November 22, 2024, surrounded by her family's loving embrace.
Judy was born February 16, 1946, in Pekin, Illinois, the daughter of Harold E. Parr and Luana Ransom Parr.
Judy grew up in Princeton, Illinois, where she attended Princeton High school. Following graduation, she attended fashion school where she channeled her creativity and developed a passion for design. Judy created a beautiful family and raised 2 loving children. In 1984, Judy and family moved to Florida where she discovered her love for the beach and its sunshine. She took full advantage by cultivating and caring for plants of all kinds. In 2010, Judy met and fell in love with Arthur Tanguay. They shared a life together where they cared for their four-legged friend, Pooky, spent time with children and grandchildren, traveled the country, and enjoyed lots of Maine "lobstah".
Judy's legacy lives on through her compassionate heart, impeccable style, and unwavering resilience.
Celebrating Judy's memory is devoted companion, Arthur Tangauy and his beloved family. Judy will be remembered by her son Michael (Benita) Bivens, grandchildren Christopher and Lauren Bivens, and great-grandchildren Madison and Arthur Bivens. Judy is also remembered by her daughter Kelli (Brian) Bivens Shreffler, grandchildren Jacob and Delana Shreffler, and great-grandchildren Aubree, Bryson, and Oakley Shreffler. Judy is survived by brother Ernie Parr, nephew Benjamin and niece Teera Parr.
Preceding Judy in death are parents, Harold E. Parr and Luana Ransom Parr.
A private service will be held for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory may be directed to the Health First Foundation of Melbourne or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences may be shared at www.davisseawinds.com.
