Joyce (Tootsie) Tomaka of Melbourne, Florida , 88 passed into God's arms on Saturday November 11, 2023.

Joyce was born in Silver Creek, New York to Lena and Norman Lopresto. She graduated from Lake Shore Central High School and later received her associate in business administration from Bryant & Statton College in Buffalo. In 1955, she married Paul Tomaka of Lackawanna, New York  She worked in business administration at Bethlehem Steel, Lake Shore Hospital and topped off her career as an Administrative Assistant with Lake Shore Central Schools in Angola.

Joyce lived for and loved her family. Her last years were spent in Florida with her children. Beloved wife of the late Paul Tomaka; Loving mother of Norman (Terry) Tomaka and the late Stacy (William) Brauen; Grandmother of Christina and Frankie; and Great-Grandmother of Adalynn Tomaka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Most Precious Blood Church, 22 Prospect St., Angola, New York. Interment will follow in nearby Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements by the Addison Funeral Home Inc., Angola, NY.

Joyce was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Most Precious Blood Church.
