Joyce A. Rishaw, 78 of Palm Bay, FL passed away, November 22, 2016 with family members by her side.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, November 19, 1938 to the late Wilbert and Ruth Meier. She maried Ernest A. Rishaw in 1957 and lived in Wellington, Ohio until relocation to Palm Bay, FL in 1999.
Joyce worked 20+ years as a machine operator at Whirlaway in Wellington, Ohio. She also worked in a sewing factory and several retail positions.
Joyce loved plants and had a love for orchids. She found beauty in all plants even weeds. She collected antiques including furniture, glass cruets and other collectibles. She had a knack for decorating with all of her collectibles and a way of combining old and new and making everything beautiful. Joyce loved to bake and her homemade pizza was well known. She was fond of sewing primitive folk art bunnies along with their special clothes and named each bunny.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest A. Rishaw of Palm Bay, sister, Elizabeth A. Nettles of Palm Bay and children Nancy Hough and Ernest A. Rishaw III of Wellington, Ohio. She also is survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
