Josephine (DeCresenzo) LaFontaine, our "General Jo" joined her family in heaven on September 27, 2024.

She is survived by siblings Samuel & Annmarie; her 4 children, JoAnn, Maryann, Diane & James along with their spouses, Michael, Alfred and Joanne, (Rocky – Deceased), 15 Grandchildren, Alfred, Lauren, Michele, Danielle, Jennifer, Leanne, Michael, Deanna, Meagan, Roxanne, James, Tonianne, Jessica, James, and Jake.14 Great Grandchildren, Lillian, Taylor, Daniel, Stevie, Landyn, Emma, Logan, Jimmy, Madison, Raelyn, Rocco, Derek, Emilia and Luna.

Josephine was born & grew up in Brooklyn, NY.

She married James on January 30, 1960 married 55 years. She passed peacefully in her sleep.

"General Jo" had a willingness to take charge in any situation. She was the heartbeat of our family. Her sense of humor, advice & positive outlook on life along with endless love for her family will be greatly missed!

We all love you very much. May you rest in eternal peace
