Joseph DeLosa Jr., 84 of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on July 24th, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born to the late Joseph DeLosa Sr. & Helen Cadigan on August 7th, 1938 in Waltham, Massachusetts. Joseph joined the Navy on August 10th, 1956, he retired after 20 years of service on November 18th, 1975 with an Honorable discharge. He retired as an E6 First Class Boatswain Mate.
He married his late wife, Kathleen Diana DeLosa on July 23rd, 1976 and together they raised seven children. Joseph is survived by Susan Finnegan, James DeLosa, Donna Bonet, Michele Olivieri, Joey DeLosa III, Karen Siders and Hank Vain. They enjoyed 12 grand-children, 14 great grand-children and 1 great, great grandson and another on the way! Also survived by his sister, Carol Stifflemier and his brother, George DeLosa.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 4th, 2023 at: Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32935. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home.
Entombment and Military Honors will follow at Fountain Memorial Park and Cemetery, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Grant-Valkaria, FL 32909.
