John Malys, 87, died Monday, May 11, following a short illness.  He was born to the late Anthony and Francis Malys on December 28, 1932 in Oil City, PA.  He graduated from Oil City Senior High School.  He married Letitita Dingley (Tish) on November 3, 1956 in St. Venantius Church, Rouseville, PA.  He later moved to Hatteras Island, NC and then to Florida.  Surviving are his wife Tish, son JT Malys and Kathy, Chaz and Kaylee Mackenzie, son Steve Malys and daughter-in-law Sandy, daughter Ann Malys Wilson and Scott Hartley.  John was preceded in death by five brothers- Slim, Walt, Stan, Joe, and Al and sister Steffi.
