John Frank Kropp of Melbourne Beach, Florida, passed away after battling heart
disease on September 27, 2017. John was born in Brooklyn, New York to John G.
and Florence Kropp on January 5, 1941. John graduated from Brooklyn Technical
High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from the City College of New York.
He was married to his beloved wife Marilyn at Saint Matthias in Queens, New York
in 1962. They lived in Deer Park and North Babylon, New York until moving to
Melbourne Beach, Florida in 1990. John was an accomplished salesman for several
electronics and communications companies including Amperex, Philips Electronics
and Atlantic Scientific. An active member of the Elks Club and Moose Lodge,
John participated in many community related activities. John cherished going on
cruises, bowling with friends and vacationing in Biloxi with his wife Marilyn.
Preceded in death by his daughter Linda Viverito, John is survived by his wife
Marilyn; his 3 children: son Wayne Kropp (and wife Monica) from Newport News,
Virginia, son Darren Kropp (and wife Angela) from Moriches, New York, and Audra
Hancock (and husband Paul) from Indialantic, Florida; and 7 grandchildren. John
will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a future date in New
York.
