IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John Patrick
Ham
October 18, 1954 – March 14, 2023
Pat Ham, 68, entered the arms of the Lord on March 14, 2023 from his residence in Melbourne, Florida.
He was born in Florence, South Carolina on October 18, 1954 to John (Johnny, Roundtrip) W. Ham Jr. and Patricia (Chip) Pearce Ham. Pat graduated from Southside High School in Florence and attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
Pat was a wonderful salesman. He could no doubt sell ice to an Eskimo. He enjoyed a long career in car sales. Despite his multiple attempts to retire, he always returned. He loved to golf as often as possible and also enjoyed fishing. He had been known to nearly throw unsuspecting victims out of the boat while chasing schools of stripers. Pat also loved sports. He rooted for the South Carolina Gamecocks and The Citadel Bulldogs all year around.
Pat was a proud father and is survived by his three children: Jonathan, Jacob, and Sarah. The only thing that he loved more than his children were his grandchildren: Caroline, Clarke, Alexander, and Wilder. In addition, Pat is also survived by his brother Mike Ham (Mandy), his sister Dorothy Sinnett (Keith), nephews Ryan and Joshua Ham, niece Rachel Sinnett and countless friends. He was predeceased in death by his parents John and Patricia Ham, his brother David Ham as well as a nephew, Taylor Sinnett.
Pat's smile and charm will be missed by all that knew him.
His family will have a private graveside service at Lawrence Family Cemetery in Elim, South Carolina.
