John H. Good Sr., age 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 19 ^th , 2022, at home in the company of family and loved ones.

Mr. Good served an honorable 23 year U.S. Air Force career (1952 – 1975) and retired at the rank of Technical Sergeant (TSgt). He began his career during the Korean War as a Radar Operator assigned to the 772d Air Control and Warning Squadron, where he served in several areas of Korea. Later in his career he served in multiple roles at Command Posts in many locations, including England, Thailand, and Guam. He is a distinguished veteran of the Korean War as well as the Vietnam War. Mr. Good retired to Brevard County, where he has spent the last 47 years as the beloved Patriarch of three successive generations. He was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as well as a Legionnaire who proudly took part in the ground-breaking of American Legion Post 117.

Mr. Good is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beverly, and four children: John Good Jr. (Karen), Eric Good (Marsha), David Good, and Birgitta Barrera. He also leaves behind five grandchildren:  Janielle Prasad (Thomas), John Good III (Caryn), Zachery Ferrell, Elisabeth Gleason (Dakota), and Sarah Hammel, as well as six great-grandchildren: Thomas Prasad Jr., Katelynne Prasad, John Good IV, Matthew Prasad, Brady Good, and Mason Prasad.

A celebration of life will be held for family members.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, Saint Francis Reflections Hospice Care, or the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
