John Fred Corvello, 92, of Melbourne, Florida passed away Friday, April 17, 2015.

He was born March 6, 1923 in Fall River, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Melbourne since 2011, coming from Tiverton, RI.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Corvello worked 44 years for Alden Corrugated Box Company in New Bedford, MA.

He was a devout Catholic and a member of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne. He was a former member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Tiverton and served with the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his son, John D. Corvello and his wife, Gail of Fall River, MA; sisters, Deolinda Costa and Evelyn Dorsey both of Melbourne; brother, Antonio Corvello of Fall River; granddaughter, Rebecca Corvello of Fall River as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Corvello was predeceased by his wife, Constance Corvello in 2003 and his sister, Irene Watkinson.

A Funeral Mass will be held 12 noon, Friday, April 24, 2015 at Ascension Catholic Church.
