John H. C. Dysinger age 80, of Melbourne FL, passed away on February 24th 2013 after his battle with lung cancer. John was born in York PA, and preceded by his parents John H. C. Sr. and Ethel, and his son David.
John was a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Engineering. He was an aerospace engineer at General Electric for 35 years. His career enabled him to travel the world over logging more than 2 million air miles. His exciting stories and beautiful pictures of his experiences were shared by many.
He served on the HOA within his Melbourne community where he had many friends. A veteran of the US Army he also enjoyed music, photography, Penn State football and most of all his family.
John is survived by his loving wife Betty (Hollenbeck), his children Richard (Mary) Dysinger of Philadelphia PA, Elaine Dysinger of Los Angeles CA, his grandchildren Greg and Morgan Dysinger, his stepchildren, Rhonda (Steve) Weingarten, Dan Walding, his step-grandchildren Dustin and Tristan Palmer and Jessica Burczyk.
The family would like to thank all who have taken such wonderful care of him, especially those from HF Home Care and HF Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to an organization that funds innovative research programs for a worldwide cure for children's cancer.
