Melbourne
John Burgoyne, 81, of Melbourne, entered into rest on December 2nd, 2012 in Palm Bay, FL. Born in Hoboken, NJ, John was the child of Duncan and Rosemary (King) Burgoyne.
He graduated on scholarships from Catholic University and Georgetown School of Law. He was employed by the National Labor Relations Board and retired after 42 years of dedication. John was an avid tennis player, and enjoyed volunteering at his church on a daily basis. In April of 2012, he relocated to Brevard County to be closer to his daughter.
He is survived by his beloved children; Sheila Felock of Melbourne Beach, FL, John Robert Burgoyne of Queens, NY and Mary Anne (Ian) Butcher of Seattle, WA; sister, Peggy Ourand of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Chen Burgoyne, Amy and Alison Felock.
Mr. Burgoyne was predeceased by his sister, Monica LaPlaca.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM on December 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish in Melbourne, FL. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
