John Herbert Bowling, 87,  of Melbourne, FL, went home to be with the LORD on December 30, 2017, with his family by his side.

John was born to the late Howard and Fannie Bowling on July 22, 1930 in Gettysburg, PA. He went to Gettysburg High School, joined the Air Force, then worked for the United Telephone Company for 39 years.

John is survived by his wife, Patricia R. Bowling and his brother Gilbert Bowling of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by his children, Kim Hoff of Melbourne, Fl, Robin Stewart of Brick, NJ, Rene' Bowling  of Melbourne, FL and Todd Bowling of Largo, FL, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
