Joan M. Stephens, 86 of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Stratford, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 and joined her brothers, Paul and John Paulison, and her best friend Nancy Esposito in heaven.
She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Joan loved her family, Christmas time, reading with the grandkids, going to Disney World, traveling - especially cruises, watching football with her husband, taking care of her home, gardening, and the warm weather of Florida.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Stephens, sons Gordon Smith, Bruce Smith, Kenneth Smith, and Richard Stephens as well as other extended family including many grandkids and great grandkids who she cherished and spoiled endlessly.
