Joan Haeger; wife, mother and daughter passed away peacefully at her home on Friday with her husband Ernest Haeger and daughters, Bunny, Penny and Debby at her bedside.

She was a wonderful mother who mastered the art of being a seamstress, baker and mother. She will be deeply missed.

Joan was always right there with her hand helping the community (Eastern Star, Red Hats, Daughters of the Nile and Miami Shores Garden Club). She always had room for something more.

All the kids in the neighborhood would always be at her home because she played the role of mom with all of them.

She is survived with her daughters; Rene Haeger-Weleder, Bunny H. Ceriale, Penny Farley, Sandy Bates and Debby Haeger.  She also has 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
