Joan Gould (85) died on August 16, 2016 peacefully at her home in Melbourne, Florida. Her husband of 65 years was by her side, just as she wished. She was born on January 21, 1931.

Joan is preceded in death by her son James Allen Gould and is survived by her husband Richard Eugene Gould of Melbourne, Florida, her son Thomas Eugene Gould of Maricopa, Arizona and her son Matthew Edwin Gould of Sheffield Lake, Ohio. She also has 4 beautiful grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

As a stay-at-home mother and raising 3 boys in Avon Lake, Ohio the snowy winters were left behind for sunny Florida, where Richard and Joan were avid golfers. They enjoyed many friends through the sport they so loved. Dick and Joan also loved spending time with friends at many Melbourne area social clubs.

There is no greater love than that shared between a husband and wife of 65 wonderful years together. Joan will be missed especially by her soul mate, but also by everyone she blessed along the away.
