Jewell R (Cohen) Crain, 87, of Melbourne, died Wednesday, October 30 peacefully with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Robert and Violet Cohen on December 20, 1936, in Osteen, Florida.  Jewell graduated from Seminole High School in Sanford Florida in 1954. Jewell and her late husband Richard were married December 8, 1955 and settled in Melbourne Florida in 1959, where they lived the remainder of their lives.

Jewell is survived by her children Terri (John) Hoibraten of Bluefield, West Virginia; and Karen (Jonathan) Crain and Rick (Terri) Crain of Melbourne.  She is also survived by her brothers James (Cleo) Cohen and Richard (Linda) Cohen.  She was predeceased by her brothers Robert and Clifford and her sister Ruby.
