Jerry Matthews, 79, of West Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025.

Jerry grew up in West Melbourne, Florida where he later raised his own family. In 1967 after graduating from Melbourne High School, Jerry was drafted into the Army. After serving two years in the Army, Jerry worked in the construction field.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Bird Matthews, who he shared 58 wonderful years with; daughter, Nicki Sirani; son, Jay Matthews; granddaughter, Hannah Willhite (Tyler); and grandson, Hayden Sirani.
