Mr. Jerrell Penn Hollaway, age 76 of Sebastian, Florida passed away on August 15, 2019 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida. Mr. Hollaway was born 11-2-1942 to Clifton Hollaway and Doris Cox Hollaway. He graduated Elkin High School. He Graduated North Carolina State University in 1966 with a B.S.E.E. He earned two Master Degrees from Florida Institute of Technology.

Upon graduation, he moved to Melbourne, Florida where he began his engineering career with Radiation Inc., later known as Harris Corporation working there for 18 years in engineering and program management. During this time he passed the bar to become a Registered United States Patent Agent. Over the next thirty three years he earned over 12 U.S. Patents. In 1986 he founded a small engineering, design, and manufacturing company in Palm Bay, Florida and worked there until March of 2017.

Mr. Hollaway is survived by his wife Sharon and was proud of his lifelong love affair with her. He is also survived by three daughters, Charlotte Parker (Bill), Allison Hollaway, and Leslie Gillow (Jim) and five grandchildren; Summer Lindsley, John William Parker, Joshua Gillow, Rachel Quispe (Fred) and Daniel Gillow, brother Tom Hollaway and sister Betty Hollaway and Mae Moncus and several nieces and nephews.

At Mr. Hollaway's request there are no scheduled services. Inurnment of his ashes is planned for an October date in North Carolina. Anyone wishing to make an expression of sympathy is asked to consider a donation to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
