Jeffrey Duane Wilson, 55, of Palm Bay, passed away Saturday, January 16th at his home.
He was born to the late Dennis Wilson Sr. and Jerryanne Whitehead on July 25, 1960 in Melbourne Fl. When he was five years old he moved to San Diego, California with his mother, stepfather and his two brothers. In the next few years the family expanded to include two more brothers. Being the stepson of a Navy man, Jeff spent a majority of his childhood moving up and down the California Coast, except for a short time in Connecticut while his stepfather attended Sub School.
He and his family moved back to San Diego, California, until 1976 when the family moved to Charleston, South Carolina. He lived in Charleston until moving to Saint Petersburg in the early 1980's to work with his father. From there, he moved to Ithaca, New York, where his first daughter Ashley was born. From there, he moved back to Florida where his met his wife of 30 years, Dawn. Jeff and Dawn would go on to have four children together: Kimberlee, Jeffrey, Shannon and Kylee.
Throughout the next 30 years he ran a successful business and coached football and basketball at The Greater West Melbourne Athletic League. Jeff enjoyed doing many things with his family and friends, some of which included are: camping, fishing, boating, going to the beach and coaching football. He also loved watching football and basketball on TV. His favorite teams were the Florida Gators, the Miami Dolphins and the Orlando Magic.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother Kyle Irving and father Dennis Wilson Sr.
Jeff is survived by his wife Dawn and his five children: Ashley Wilson, Kimberlee Costa (Jon), Jeffrey Paul Wilson, Shannon Wilson and Kylee Wilson. His seven grandchildren Cassidy, Julianna, Mariah, Thomas, Michael, Anthony and Summer. He is also survived by his mother Jerryanne Cameron (John), his older brother Dennis Wilson Jr., and two younger brothers Kevin and Keith Irving. In addition Jeff is survived by his many nieces, nephews, their children, cousins, and friends.
