Jearleen "Jerri" D. Christmas passed away after a brief illness on July 15, 2015 in Melbourne, FL. She was the daughter of the late James Duvall and Maggie Stewart Duvall and sister of Ronnie, Foster and Arthur and step-sister of Roy Ashley, all of whom predeceased her. Her beloved identical twin, Catherine Duvall Edrington, is a resident of Merritt Island, FL.

Jerri was born on March 30, 1927 in Leitchfield, KY but spent her childhood and earlier part of her life in Louisville, KY, moving to Florida in the 1980's. She was a strong, independent woman who overcame many obstacles in her long life of 88 years. As such, she was always thinking ahead to better times.

Jerri is survived by her daughters, Scarlett Saltsman Huber of Melbourne, Monna Saltsman Mahoney of Winnabow, NC; son, Jack J. Freet II of New Hanover, PA; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition she leaves several cousins of whom she was very fond, spread between Kentucky and Florida. Jerri had many friends and will be miss by all who knew her.

Jerri Christmas is to have final rest in Rest Haven Cemetery, Louisville, KY, with a memorial service to follow, approximately the first week of September.
