Jane Rita Scanlan, 51, of Melbourne, entered into rest on December 31st, 2012 in Rockledge, FL Born in Bradford, PA, Jane was the child of Nicholas and Anne Ryan- Scanlan. Ms. Scanlan worked in the healthcare industry as an occupational therapist. She was a devout catholic and a long time parishioner of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne. Jane is survived by her beloved daughter, Sarah Leakey; siblings, Colleen McClay, Michael Scanlan, Dennis Scanlan, Marie Anderson, Brian Scanlan, Rosemary Scanlan-Jacob and dear friends, Barbara and Phil Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N. Harbor City Boulevard, Melbourne, FL. Inurnment will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date.
