Jane Marie Koagel of Melbourne FL passed away at her home on February 25, 2024. Jane was born July 15, 1959 in Ware Massachusetts to Barbara Orell and Dwight Woods.

She moved to Florida as a teen with her family and remained raising her children, spreading positivity and kindness, and enjoying life.

Jane worked in different industries throughout her career, including restaurants, schools, and stay at home mom. She retired as a custom electronic soldering technician and was proud to have worked on several large projects, including theme park animatronics and specialty surveillance cameras.

She enjoyed music, movies, playing cards, concerts, shopping, dining out, and gatherings. She loved spending time with the children in her life and making them feel special. Jane brought a sense of fun and humor to her family that will be missed.

Jane is survived by the love of her life and partner of 25 years, Joe Morisseau, children and their spouses, Nikki & Jim Gambino, Jonathan & Patty Koagel, and Megan Koagel & Marlene Marlowe, her beloved Mother in Law Diana Morisseau, and beautiful granddaughters Ava & Lena Gambino and Gabriella Koagel. She is also survived by her siblings Nina Kokansky, Debra Schnatz and David Woods, and many nieces & nephews and great nieces & great nephews and a large extended family.

She was proceeded in death by her mother & father and her brothers Johnny Clayton & Michael Woods.

Jane will be remembered for her sunshine and optimism throughout life and we hope she's singing her heart out, swaying to the music with one tear rolling down her cheek.

Services will be held by Davis Seawinds 560 Montreal Ave Melbourne FL 32935 on March 29, 2024  from 2-4pm.
