Obituary

James Gregory Shull passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida.  He was 68 years old. He was married to Dover Bradford Shull for 36 1/2 years.

He was born in Arlington, Virginia to James Shull and Mary "Marie" Thomas Shull.  He attended Falls Church High School and was a member of Graham Road Methodist Church.  He started college and then went through the electrical apprenticeship program where he was able to get his master electrician license.

He worked at Buhl Electric in Sterling, Virginia.  He then moved to Florida where he worked for Boys Electric Company in Palm Bay, Florida and then at Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.

He enjoyed surfing as a teenager and loved being outdoors.  He loved living in Florida because of being so close to the water.  After moving to Florida he loved to go boating, water skiing, knee-boarding and going to the beach with his family.  He also enjoyed working on old cars.  He was very proud of the 1969 Camaro SS that he restored completely.

He is survived by his wife Dover, his daughter Shelby and her husband Patrick of Dallas, Texas, his dog and constant companion Fred and a grand dog Marley.  His sister Jennifer of Bristow, Virginia, brother Randy (Terri) of Winchester, Virginia and brother Tim of Falls Church, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews and a great nephew and niece.  He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers Tom, David and Mark.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
