James J Osterman, 69 years old, of West Melbourne FL passed away peacefully after a battle with ALS on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Melbourne Reginal hospital.
Jim was born in Warsaw, NY to Wallace and Betty Osterman on May 16, 1953
He graduated from Wyoming Central in 1972. He was employed by Markin Tubing for 35 years.
Jim was happily married to Mary Jane for 44 years and had 2 children, Travis and Nicole. They started their lives in Wyoming NY and moved to Florida in 2011 after they retired.
Jim was had many interests he was passionate about. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, golfing and his dogs. Jim was a member of the Moose Lodge 1406 in Melbourne where he served on the board and gave many hours of volunteering. Member of the Sportsman Club in Silver Lake NY and also a member of the Wyoming conservation Rod and Gun Club. Jim and MJ also loved traveling and making memories!
Jim is survived by his loving and caring wife, Mary Jane, son Travis (Angie) Osterman of Uvalde, TX; daughter Nicole (Adam) Forsino of Farmington, NY; grandchildren Ethan, Lillian and Seth. Brothers Karl (Melody) Osterman of Wyoming, NY and Gary Osterman. Many nieces and nephews and friends. Proceeded in death Father, Wally Osterman and sister Judy Strathearn of Wyoming, NY; sister in law Betsi Osterman
