James "Jim" Milton Meurett went home to his savior on Monday, December 23, 2019. James leaves Donna, whom he met and married at the Melbourne greyhound park together for 20 years. Loving father of William (Lori), Dawn (Greg) Klobukowski, and Michael (Dusti). Loving step-father to Alexis (Laurie) Honsinger-Pieper, Maria Gurley, Bruce (Summer) Lecuyer, and Stephen (Tiffany) Lecuyer. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews. Brother to Richard (Barbara) Meurett, Judith (Gary) Jenner, Luanne Ervin, the late Gail (Dave) Luebke and Nancy (Pete) Gitzel. Preceded in death by parents Milton and Lucille (Gaier) Meurett, his first wife Connie Meurett, his grandson Dustin Meurett and brother-in-law Pat Ervin. We will be having a celebration of life on January 18 ^th , 2020 at 5:00 PM, Location will be the American Legion Post 81, located at 2909 South Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901. We will also hold an additional celebration of life in Wisconsin in the spring when the ground thaws to fulfill his wishes of returning him to the farm.
