James Marion Keen, 76, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, with his family by his side.

He was born to the late Ivan Floyd and Mamie Marie (Ford) Keen on November 20th, 1942 in Olney, Illinois. James graduated from East Richland High School, Olney, and attended Lincoln Land Community College and Lakeland College in Mattoon, Illinois. James was married to Catherine Rude in 1962 and they were married for 42 years.

James retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 18 years.  He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his many friends as well as his beloved Pomeranian, Buddy. He was a Past Master and lifetime member of Blue Mound Lodge #682. He was also a Past Worthy Patron of Blue Mound Order of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by his children Gregory (Tracy Olds) Keen, Tina (Jerry) Kelley, Paul (Tracy Glosser) Keen, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as his sister, Janice (Jim) Seaton, brother-in-law George Brown, and sister-in-law Phyllis Keen

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Verlin Keen and sister Glenda Maxine Brown.

Friends and family are invited to a casual Celebration of Life that will take place Wednesday, May 15th at Space Coast RV Park in Rockledge between 6PM and 8PM.
