Melbourne Fl. – James William Gallagher, 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

James is survived by: his loving wife of 59 years, Sueanne Gallagher; his children Kelly Bailey, James Gallagher Jr., Coleen Gallagher, Kevin Gallagher and Kathleen Simon; his sisters Maureen Layton and Joanne Combatti; his fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a large extended family and countless friends.

James was born on December 21, 1937 in Queens, New York and relocated to Florida in 1972. He was a gifted athlete and an avid golfer. James was a devout Catholic that; served in the Eucharistic Ministry, delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be best remembered as a devoted family man, beloved by the many lives he touched.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community located at 3050 N. Highway A1A, Indialantic, Fl. 32903.
