James Clinton (Clint) Bowen, age 47 of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Elberton, passed away on August 4, 2017, after suffering a stroke in January. Clint graduated from Elbert County High School in 1988 and was member of the Elbert County Blue Devils Football Team as a Center. He remained friends with many of his former classmates.

Clint spent most of his career in the U S Navy on the Submarines the USS Stonewall Jackson, decommissioned 2/9/95 and the USS Florida, having joined shortly after high school. He had the opportunity to see the world. It was on a temporary duty assignment in Florida where he met Sarah and his life changed forever. His life was filled with an abundance of love, joy and laughter as he dedicated his time and energy to his loving family. He touched the hearts of many along his life's journey. We were all so very blessed having been a part of his family and friends.
