Jacqueline C. Demers, 77, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church and a Special Minister of the Eucharist. She was a retired merchandiser for American Greeting Cards and a resident of Melbourne since 1972. Jackie was born in Lawrence, MA and graduated from Nashua High School in Nashua, NH in 1953. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert; three sons, Robert T., John K. and Edward T. (Joanne) Demers; three grandsons, Jerrod (Diane), Cameron and Travis; one great grandson, Andrew; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Dunn and Mrs. Laurie Blaise; two brothers, Ronald and Michael Raymond and several nieces and nephews. A vigil service will be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 20 from 10:30AM - 11:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Entombment will take place 11:30AM on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to: Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation, 4676 N.
