Jackie Lee "Jack" Boyer Long time Pennsylvania resident Jackie Lee, "Jack" Boyer passed away of natural causes due to multiinfarct dementia on May 8, 2022, in Sebastian, FL where he was a resident since 1997. Jack was a 1956 graduate of Reading HS. Upon his graduation, Jack enlisted in the USAF serving over 21 years. His USAF career took him to overseas locations Tripoli, Africa, Misawa, Japan and Karamursel, Turkey. He was also stationed in Washington D.C., Texas, Florida, Maine and Alaska. After his retirement from the USAF he was employed by AT&T/Lucent Technologies for over 20 years. Jack enjoyed playing cards and happy hours with many friends and cruising wherever a ship would take him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Boyer and his mother Lilian Rauenzahn McDonough both of PA. Also, by a son Robert Stevens and a brother Rodney Rentschler both of FL. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol of Sebastian, FL and 2 brothers, Charles Rentschler of TN and Terry Snyder of PA. Also, his children, daughters Jean Stevens Chudanov and Debora Boyer Talys both of FL, sons, Scott of GA and Brian of PA. Along with 9 grandchildren, Justin Loeb, Brittanny Boyer Youngblood, Ashlee Chudanov Bartman, Chelsie Boyer Hafer, Chas Loeb, Paige Boyer, Cody Loeb, Olivia Chudanov and Alexandrea Boyer Griffiths. He also had 7 great-grandchildren.

He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
